What errors can the tool correct?
The checker fixes spelling, punctuation, agreement, tense, voice, and word choice using transformer language models (Vaswani et al., 2017). It also rewrites awkward sentences for clarity.
How does tone selection work?
The API feeds your tone keyword into the system prompt, guiding the model to rephrase output accordingly (OpenAI, 2023).
Is my text stored?
All submissions delete automatically after 30 minutes; no training retention (Privacy Policy, 2024).
What text length is ideal?
Keep each request below 3 500 words to stay within the 4 096-token envelope and ensure fast responses (OpenAI GPT-4, 2023).
Can I use it on mobile?
Yes. The form is responsive; 320 px screens still display all fields without horizontal scrolling (W3C Mobile BP, 2023).
Does it replace human editors?
No. “Software catches rule‐based errors; humans judge nuance” (CMOS 17, §2.49). Use both for critical documents.
Which industries benefit most?
Top adopters: education, marketing, and customer support, saving 12 h/month on editing (G2 Grammar Software Report, 2023).
How often is the model updated?
Engineers push language-data refresh cycles every six weeks to track evolving usage (Release Notes, 2024).
