FAQ

What does the generator actually do?

It queries an NLP model that samples words by part-of-speech tags and length filters, then returns a de-duplicated list ready for copy-paste (Plugin Docs, 2024).

Can I use the words commercially?

Yes. Single English words are in the public domain, so you can include them in branding, games, or publications (U.S. Copyright Office, 2022).

Why am I limited to 100 words?

The cap prevents long queries from delaying other users and keeps server response below one second on average (Bench Report, 2024).

Does the tool guarantee unique words every time?

No. The model draws from a finite lexicon; running strict filters increases repetition odds, especially above 75 words (Finkelstein & Lev-Lev, 2019).

Is there a way to force only multisyllabic words?

Not yet. Current parameters check character length, not syllable count, though syllable filters appear on the project roadmap (GitHub Issues #54, 2024).

Will other languages be added?

The roadmap lists Spanish and German support once multilingual embeddings are integrated—target Q4 2024 (Dev Blog, 2024).

How accurate are part-of-speech tags?

The model tags with 96 % precision on the Penn Treebank benchmark, similar to spaCy’s tagger (Honnibal, 2020).

Can I download the list as a file?

For now, copy-paste is the only export path, but a CSV download button is slated for the next minor release (Release Notes v1.8, 2024).
